My StoryAfter graduating in 1982 as a Chemical Engineer I started working in the Central Research Institute of Chemistry (KKKI) of Hungarian Academy of Science. In 1990 I took a job in Hungary's oldest pharmaceutical company Gedeon Richter Plc. Today this company is the largest in the Central European region with a revenue of 1.6 billion USD in 2018. I was excited to contribute to the transformation of the socialist company into a real modern multinational one operating on the EU and the global market. As the Head of the Project Management Office responsible for new product development I also managed strategic projects of the Company aiming the preparation for this new era.
After these projects ended, I felt like I have reached the peak and started feeling burnt out. During my working as a leader I grew fond of people and organizational development so when I started looking into a new profession I decided to move into this direction and leave the company and the pharmaceutical industry after 17 years. In 2006 I started taking the most prestigious trainer course with Dr. Róbert Barlai and I begun to work as a free-lancer trainer in 2008. Later I took several courses like Business and Management Coaching with dr. Péter Bodó, Action Learning Team coaching, Organization Development and Facilitator’s trainings. In the last 8 years within the frames of an OD consultant firm I had the opportunity to work with multinational and national big, medium and small firms, hospitals, governmental organizations, and also NGOs. I really enjoyed working with different people on their own development and see their personal growth. I turned my studies towards the Rogers’ Person-Centered counseling, Bach flower remedies and Mental Health counseling. Today I combine my past experiences, my systematic thinking and my personal soft skills to help my clients set their goals, guide them on their path or help them gain clarity over a complicated situation. |
All this is still like a transformation process; you have a person with all of their hidden potential, their circumstances and situation, then a coach stirs the pot and wait for the pure crystal to form and shine. - Gabi
